Ahern Luxury Boutique Hotel

Stayed for four nights and it was a great place. The front desk staff were very accommodating and fabulous to deal with. We had breakfast at the restaurant every morning and the staff and food were amazing. The pool is small but worked fine for us. The room was great, it actually had a fridge for our use which was handy for filling with water, beer and snacks. There are no resort fees and parking was free. If you're looking for somewhere near the action it may not be for you but it was perfect for us. We'll definitely be back here again. Thanks

This is a nice hotel at the far end of the Las Vegas Strip. You can walk to the heart of the Strip from here, but it takes an hour or more. The hotel is new and the rooms huge. It is we'll-appointed and very clean. Breakfast was included in our rate, and the breakfast was really good. There is no casino at the hotel, and the whole place seemed to non-smoking, which was wonderful. There is free parking in the adjacent garage. The hotel has some quirks. While there was a refrigerator in the room, there are no microwave ovens or coffee makers. The windows are tinted red (it was originally built to serve the Chinese trade and red is a lucky color) so everything in your room has a red tint. I ended up having to close the drapes and only use artificial light as the red coming through the windows was too much. And since the number 4 is unlucky in the Chinese culture, there is no fourth floor. All in all, the price was right, the rooms large and clean and the location was fine. I would definitely stay here again.

Location is the star of this hotel. It's just at the beginning of the strip and near I-15. I spent most of my time away from the strip so it was great to be able to take the nearby I-15 and access to Sahara Ave to get to off strip restaurants and activities. Parking is included and there is no resort fee which is awesome and rare. The hotel is dated, could use a makeover, but if you're only there to sleep it's pleasant enough. The coffee place in the attached nearby building has great croissants and pastries, and a real convenience in the mornings. Room service is a let down as it's only service upon request, but even after several requests my room was not cleaned.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was very clean and comfortable, and everyone working there was super kind, friendly, and helpful. Upon checking in we got a text from Effie, our concierge, who was more than helpful in providing advice and recommendations. That was much appreciated. The windows are all tinted pink which I really adored. I have absolutely no complaints but I would say the only thing that would have improved our stay would be a microwave and coffee maker in the room. I still would 10/10 recommend staying here.

I’ve stayed at the luxury hotels with all the bells and whistles and “boutique” hotels that were just remodeled motels…. This hotel is JUST RIGHT!!!!! Well appointed at the end of the strip ….. if you’re able to move with ease but enjoy peace and quiet this is the BEST place . No casino noise …. No riff raff …. It’s an oasis or escape from the noise and hustle and bustle from the strip and it’s literally a minute or two from said strip! There’s a coffee shop(it’s great) and restaurants with daily specials! The rooms … at least mine wasn’t grandiose but it is cute and everything worked ….. I didn’t have shower caps or toothpaste already in room but when I called it was brought up promptly !!! Parking is free…..there’s a sky walk (it is winter ) from parking lot to hotel , gym ….. nice areas to chill with your group on property outside of your room ! If you’re looking for negatives …. I’ll say this …there’s not so great views from some rooms and the windows looking out have a red or pinkish film on them …. on my first day …. I thought it was annoying but by day 2 and three I didn’t mind the ring at all ! I started calling it look at the wired through rose colored glasses!!! if this hotel is in your budget….. it’s your best choice ! It’s new … doesn’t reek of decades old cigarettes and it’s super functional with great staff …. They’re knowledgeable, kind, polite, patient and seem happy at work !
